Parking at Hollywood Private Hospital

Parking at Hollywood Private Hospital can be challenging, especially during peak times of 9am to 2pm on weekdays.

Below is some information regarding parking at Hollywood Private Hospital. However, you may like to consider alternative methods of getting to and from the hospital.

There are several visitor car parks located on the hospital’s campus. The majority of bays are housed in the multi-storey car park which is accessible via entrance 5 off Monash Avenue.

There are a small number of short term parking bays (two hour maximum) available at Hollywood’s main reception and entrance via entrance 2, and in the area via entrance 3, off Monash Avenue. For any parking needs over two hours, visitors and patients should proceed to the Multi Storey Car Park.

Visitor parking is also available at the following campus locations:

  • Entrance 5: Surrounding the Hollywood Medical Centre building (off Monash Avenue)
  • Entrance 5: Adjacent to The Hollywood Clinic (off Monash Avenue)
  • Entrance 6: Outside Hollywood Functional Rehabilitation Unit (off Verdun Street)
  • Entrance 7: Nearby to Lawrence McCarthy ward (off Verdun Street).

All on-campus visitor parking is pay parking.

There is limited off-campus parking available on Monash Avenue, opposite Clifton Street (time limits apply).

Hospital Parking Fees*
Effective 1 July 2016, all patients and visitors will be required to pay the parking fees outlined below:

Monthly $82.00
Five visit pass* $40.00 (introduced on 12 August 2015)

For patients who attend on a regular basis, the five visit pass*, weekly and monthly discounted car park passes are available for purchase at the following locations:

  • Security department
  • Main reception
  • The Leslie Starcevich Day Suites front reception
  • The Hollywood Clinic front reception

*The five visits can be used over a 12 month period.

Student Parking
Please note that the five visit pass, weekly and monthly discounted car park passes are not available for purchase by students who are attending training at the hospital.

There are some parking bays available for students who are car pooling. For enquiries, please contact the Student Placement Coordinator in Training and Development on 9346 6108.

ACROD Parking
We have 28 parking bays for ACROD Permit Holders.

Drop off and pick up points

For your convenience, there are several drop off points located on the campus:

  • Entrance 2: Outside the main hospital entrance
  • Entrance 3: Outside the entrance to Brislee Wing
  • Entrance 4: Outside the main entrance to the Hollywood Specialist Centre
  • Entrance 5: Outside the entrance to the Hollywood Medical Centre

Alternative Methods Getting to and from Hollywood Private Hospital

Taxis
A taxi rank is located outside the hospital’s main reception and entrance (via entrance 2 off Monash Avenue).

There is a dedicated telephone at main reception that connects with Swan Taxis for patients and visitors to order their taxi.

If you are visiting the Hollywood Medical Centre or Hollywood Specialist Centre, upon leaving you can ask the concierge to order you a taxi to pick you up from the entrance of these buildings.

Buses (public transport)
Major bus routes service the surrounding area of Hollywood Private Hospital. The closest bus stops are located along Monash Avenue, Hampden Road, Hospital Avenue and Stirling Highway.

Bus routes 25, 103, 24, 950 and 97 run to and from these destinations. Stops for these services are less than 1km from Hollywood Private Hospital.

Route 950, Perth’s highest frequency bus service, operates between Morley Bus Station and QEII Medical Centre via Beaufort Street, Perth (Esplanade Bus Port and Wellington Street railway station) and University of Western Australia and runs every one to four minutes at peak time on weekdays.

Trains (public transport)
The closest train stations to Hollywood Private Hospital are Shenton Park (1.8 km), Karrakatta, Daglish and Subiaco stations.

The Subiaco shuttle (Bus route 97) runs from Subiaco train station to QEII Medical Centre with bus stops on Monash Avenue and Hampden Road. The Subiaco shuttle runs every 15 minutes on weekdays (from 6.43am to 6.30pm); every 30 minutes on Saturdays (from 8.55am to 5.55pm); and hourly on Sundays and public holidays.

Special transport for Veterans
Eligible veteran patients may be able to have transport arranged through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). The department can be contacted on 9366 8391 or 9366 8392 for more information.

If you are an eligible veteran, upon leaving you can ask the main reception staff or the concierges at the Hollywood Medical Centre and Hollywood Specialist Centre to order your transport for pick up.
