Jun 04, 2014
A record number of 424 Ramsay Health Care staff took part in this year's annual HBF Run for a Reason, winning them the Largest Corporate Team award.

"We decided to run in honour of our uncle who recently lost his courageous battle to cancer at such a young age of 58.
"It was an emotional day to see thousands of people running for their reasons. It really hits close to the heart."
Regional Manager of Operations WA/SA and Indonesia, Kevin Cass-Ryall said Ramsay was proud to support this major fun, fitness and fundraising event.
"Our ongoing support of the HBF Run for a Reason is one way we show the community we live by our motto and really are 'people caring for people'.
"Ramsay's team was unbeatable in size and the $1,000 prize money will be donated to Lifeline WA, a fantastic organisation providing a telephone counselling service to those contemplating suicide."
Mr Cass-Ryall also announced Ramsay had signed another three year contract as naming sponsor of the community event, reinforcing its commitment to the WA community.
The event which was held on Sunday 25 May raised more than $1,350,000 for a number of WA charities.
