Hollywood Private Hospital celebrates Anne Leach Wing’s first anniversary
Oct 25, 2016
On Wednesday 19 October, Hollywood Private Hospital (Hollywood) celebrated the first anniversary of its new theatres and wards complex, the Anne Leach Wing.
Hollywood Chief Executive officer, Peter Mott, said “At Ramsay Health Care, our philosophy is ‘People caring for people’, and one of our core values is teamwork. I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has been involved in the project and has worked so hard to make this development a success, including the hospital’s nurses, allied health professionals, doctors, support services and volunteers.”
“With the addition of the new wing, Hollywood has firmly cemented its position as the State’s largest private hospital based on bed numbers. However, as we continue to grow, we also remain committed to delivering the highest quality of care and services to our patients.”
“Providing exceptional patient care is dependent on having a great culture including motivated teams of people who put patients at the centre of everything we do. The results of a recent survey conducted by independent research company, Aon Hewitt, showed that levels of staff engagement at Hollywood are well above the Australian and New Zealand top quartile for large organisations, and higher than the global healthcare sample of comparative organisations.”
Whilst the Anne Leach Wing’s first anniversary is a significant milestone in Hollywood’s plans for development, the hospital continues to look toward the future and has ongoing plans for expansion.
