Hollywood's new world class centre to attract leading doctors and researchers

Feb 13, 2019

A world class comprehensive cancer centre being built at Hollywood Private Hospital (HPH) will give Western Australians better access to cutting edge treatment and extensive clinical trials.

The development, which is due for completion in 2020, will see the establishment of WA’s first private fully integrated Comprehensive Cancer Centre along with 37 consulting rooms, a new gastroenterology unit and an additional 280 car bays.

Hollywood Chief Executive Officer, Peter Mott, said the new facility would mean even better care for patients.

“Having all the different oncology services at one site will vastly improve the calibre of our cancer services here at Hollywood,” he said.

“It will also help make what is often a very challenging journey easier for patients, who will no longer need to travel across different sites to access treatment.

“Importantly, it will attract more leading researchers and doctors to our campus.”

Mr Mott said the number of consulting rooms at Hollywood would increase from 107 to 144.
