Nurses survey on falls prevention in older patients at Hollywood Private Hospital
Apr 20, 2022
Hollywood Private Hospital nurses are taking part in a national survey to explore the opinions of nurses regarding preventing falls among older people at hospital.
Researchers from the University of WA and Edith Cowan University are leading the study.
Nurses employed across all clinical areas at Hollywood are being recruited to complete a 15-minute anonymous survey. The survey will ask a series of questions about falls prevention practices in the hospital and responses will help to inform future training for nurses in falls prevention.
The study has been approved by the Ramsay Health Care Human Research Ethics Committee.
The survey will be open until June 2022.
