Background & Training

Mr Joshi has extensive experience as surgeon in Australia and overseas. He obtained specialist qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Mumbai University in 2002 in India. He worked as overseas fellow/Senior Registrar at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Nedlands prior to obtaining fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He gained substantial exposure to minimally invasive valve surgery at The Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane and also spent some time at Heart Center Leipzig, Germany.
