Clinical Practice
Dr Pradyot Saklani is an Electrophysiologist. Aside from general cardiology, Pradyot has a specific interest in cardiac rhythm disorders. He is trained to perform complex ablations of diverse arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation. His other interests include implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac re-synchronisation devices as well as the diagnosis and management of hereditary rhythm disorders.
Background & Training
Pradyot graduated with Honours from the University of Western Australia in 2004. He trained at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fremantle hospitals, attaining qualification as a specialist cardiologist. Pradyot undertook a further 2 years of training in clinical electrophysiology and cardiac pacing at University Hospital in London, Ontario, Canada.
