Clinical Practice
Dr Beilin is a Specialist General Physician with a particular focus on endocrinology and treats endocrinological conditions including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, disorders of calcium metabolism, pituitary conditions, adrenal disease and androgen deficiency in men.
In addition to his endocrinology private practice he served as head of department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Royal Perth Hospital (2005 to 2010) and continues to work in the public hospital system. Since 2015 he has held an appointment at the Fiona Stanley Hospital where he works closely with other medical and surgical specialists in collaborating specialties managing a variety of endocrine conditions as well as with allied health staff in the management of patients with diabetes.
He has lectured medical students at the University of Western Australia for a number of years. He enjoys teaching and is actively involved in the teaching of medical students and both junior and more senior medical specialists-in-training.
Background & Training
Dr Beilin graduated from the University of Western Australia medical school in 1990. He subsequently undertook advanced training as a consultant physician in the specialty of Endocrinology and Diabetes in Perth before completing his specialist training and PhD studies at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Upon returning to Perth in the year 2000 he established a busy endocrinology private medical practice.
