Clinical Practice:
Dr Badshah is a Specialist General Physician with a particular focus on endocrinology. He is passionate about his patients and values communications with all primary care physicians. Imran consults privately at Hollywood Private Hospital where he also has admitting rights in General Medicine. In addition he also holds a public appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Imran believes in system level patient care delivery and established the Gestational Diabetes clinic at Joondalup Hospital and worked as an Obstetric Endocrinologist at Joondalup Hospital for 2 years.
Research & Clinical Trials
Dr Badshah is active in research and clinical trials relating to obesity and diabetes. He is currently Principal Lead of Obesity and Diabetes RCTs in WA for two Pharmaceutical companies Ei Lilly and Novo Nordisk.
Background & Training:
Dr Badshah graduated from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2006 and underwent further basic physician training in internal medicine in New Zealand and Australia. He then went on to complete Advanced training in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fiona Stanley Hospital following which he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology in 2017. He has also worked as a Clinical Trial Investigator at University of Western Australia and published peer reviewed research papers in the field of Diabetes & Endocrinology.
