Clinical Practice

Dr Oscar Aldridge is a Specialist General Surgeon who provides elective and emergency general surgery with a particular focus on complicated gallstone disease and abdominal wall reconstruction. Oscar believes in a patient-centred care  approach with a focus on clear communication and actionable recommendations. Dr Aldridge is a part of Western General Surgeons whose goal is to provide individual and consistent care to each and every patient. This means ensuring that all patients they treat will receive the same high quality care by a sub-specialist trained general surgeon who has had experience in major teaching hospital acute care surgery. Elective referrals are usually seen within 1 month (often less) and emergencies prioritised and seen within 24hrs.  Dr Aldridge offers bulk billing for emergency consultations and follow-up care and the fee for elective referrals is waived for service workers, student and pensioners. Operations and procedures are also bulk billed.  Dr Aldridge also holds public appointments at both Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital.
