Dr Salim is a Specialist General Surgeon and an academic who covers all general surgical conditions and in particular in conditions affecting the gallbladder, liver and pancreas. Background & Training
Having grown up in Perth, Dr Salim travelled east, completing his general surgical training at the prestigious Royal Prince Alfred hospital in Sydney. Dr Salim completed further training at the esteemed St. Vincents hospital in Melbourne and Fiona Stanley Hospital in Perth, with a focus on minimally invasive surgery and interventional endoscopy. Having trained under international leaders in surgery, Dr Salim looks forward to providing world class surgical care, to the community that shaped him into who he is today.
Dr Salim holds an academic appointment at the University of Western Australia and clinical appointments at Royal Perth Hospital, Fiona Stanley Hospital and Hollywood Private Hospital. His patients have the added benefit of multidisciplinary team care and access to specialists in all fields.
