Andrew's focus lies particularly in malignant haematology, where he has garnered experience as both a principal investigator and co-investigator in various clinical trials. His contributions to the field include multiple publications, with a notable emphasis on radioimmunotherapy for treating low-grade lymphoma. Andrew has shared his insights at both national and international meetings and has actively participated in advisory boards.

Based at Hollywood Private Hospital, Andrew served on the Medical Advisory Committee for eight years, showcasing his commitment to the advancement of healthcare practices.

Background & Triaining

Andrew, a graduate of the University of Western Australia (UWA), completed his haematology training in Melbourne in 2002. His extensive career includes serving as a consultant haematologist at Fremantle Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital until 2017.

For a decade, Andrew represented Western Australia on the National Blood Transfusion Committee and held the role of WA representative for the Private Cancer Physicians of Australia. From 2015 to early 2016, he led the laboratory haematology department at SJOG Pathology before joining Western Diagnostic Pathology.

As a senior clinical examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Andrew contributes to the evaluation of medical professionals. His passion for medical education is evident through his involvement in teaching undergraduates and postgraduates. Additionally, he serves as a visiting lecturer at both Notre Dame University and Curtin University.
