Outside of his professional life, Steve enjoys travel, wine, and photography.

Background and Training:

Steve was born and attended medical school in Aberdeen, Scotland. He commenced his basic postgraduate training in the United Kingdom before relocating to Perth, where he continued his specialised training in Haematology. In 1998, he achieved the status of a specialist physician and pathologist in haematology, earning fellowships from both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Steve has been an integral part of the medical community at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital since 1990 and has also contributed to the healthcare landscape at Royal Perth Hospital. His extensive training and professional affiliations underscore his expertise in the field of Haematology.
