Clinical Practice
Dr Andrej Nikoloski is a locally trained Consultant Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon who joined Hollywood Orthopaedic Group in 2019. He has a keen focus in all facets of Orthopaedics but has a main interest in surgery of the foot and ankle. Since his initial degree he has undertaken training in this sub-specialty which makes him a leader in his field.
Every individual patient is treated with the upmost respect and he offers personalised care with a strong focus on doctor-patient partnership built on trust. All care is delivered in a friendly, approachable manner and is ultimately backed by extensive experience, high level surgical skills and sound clinical judgement.
Background and Training
Andrej graduated from Perth Modern School (Subiaco) with Dux in 1998 and completed his medical degree (MBBS) with Honours at UWA in 2003. Following on from this he completed his internship at Royal Perth Hospital and pursued his interest in surgery by successfully completing the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons BST (Basic Surgical Training) Programme from 2004-2007.
He developed a special focus on foot & ankle surgery during his training. He undertook further sub-specialty training in foot and ankle orthopaedics. He completed his AOA accredited Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Sydney and trained with the nationally and internationally recognised Dr Andrew Wines and Dr Kim Slater from the North Sydney Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Clinic. He then trained with Dr Les Grujic and Dr Peter Lam from the North Shore Private Hospital.
He was selected to the Advanced Orthopaedic Surgery Training scheme governed by the RACS/AOA and worked as an Orthopaedic Surgery Registrar. He completed this training in WA's tertiary teaching hospitals Orthopaedic Surgery Departments from 2007-2014. In 2014 he completed his final Orthopaedic Fellowship exams as was awarded a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAorthA).
