Dr Elayne Ooi is a Specialist Urological Surgeon with sub-specialty interests in robotic surgery and brachytherapy for prostate cancer, kidney stones, bladder cancer, vasectomy and microsurgical vasectomy reversal, green light laser surgery for prostate enlargement, voiding dysfunction, Botox injections and sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder.

Dr Ooi is a Specialist Urological Surgeon with sub-specialty interests in robotic surgery and brachytherapy for prostate cancer, kidney stones, bladder cancer, vasectomy and microsurgical vasectomy reversal, green light laser surgery for prostate enlargement, voiding dysfunction, Botox injections and sacral neuromodulation for overactive bladder. Dr. Ooi is registered with all the major health funds and consults in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and from her private rooms in Mount Hawthorn.

She is a Specalist Urologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and is accredited to perform surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital, St John of God Hospital, Subiaco and Mount Lawley, Glengarry Private Hospital and Mount Hospital.

She is an instructor on the Emergency Management of Severe Trauma (EMST) course, Cutting Edge: Essential Surgical Skills course, Core Skills: Intermediate Laparoscopic Skills Workshop and URGE Active Learning Module Workshop for general practitioners.

Background & Training

Dr. Elayne Sue Min Ooi obtained her MBBS from the University of Adelaide, undertook basic and advanced surgical training in Western Australia, and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Society of Robotic Surgery. Her previous appointments include Paediatric Urology Fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital and Robotic Surgery and Oncology Fellow at Royal Adelaide Hospital.
