Clinical Practice
Mr Barrett is a Specialist Urological Surgeon who operates and is based at Hollywood Private Hospital. He also regularly operates at Glengarry Private Hospital in Duncraig. His practice is focused on providing depth of expertise in both males and female functional urological issues. He achieved this by streamlining his practice through his work at Perth Urology Clinic where collaboration allows surgeons to practice in a niche that suits their interest and skillset.
Trent aims to provide good communication and high quality patient care. Mr Barrett performs surgery for erectile dysfunction from Hollywood Private Hospital in addition to his usual practice. He maintains public appointments at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Fiona Stanley Hospital.
Background and Training
Trenton Barrett has a particular interest in andrology, male infertility and female urology. A recipient of the Keith Kirkland travelling fellowship, he completed a fellowship in Adelaide followed by a further subspecialty fellowship in andrology and female urology in the UK at Leicester General Hospital. Dr Barrett has also spent time with the female reconstructive unit at University College Hospital, London and has undergone specific training in male infertility microsurgery at Cornell in New York City and the PUR Clinic in Clermont, Florida.
GP Education and Resources
Trent is active in teaching urology trainees as well as those from other specialties and is also available to assist general practices with education/updates on diagnosis, management and surgery for patients. He is happy to visit practices by arrangement for group discussions on various topics.
