Clinical Practice
Dr Joseph Hockley is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and has experience and an interest in the minimally invasive (endovascular) treatment of complex aortic and peripheral vascular disease, along with a particular interest in diabetic feet. Joe provides comprehensive care for all venous disorders having run the publicly funded venous service out of Osborne Park Hospital for 2 years. He has extensive experience in endovenous and open management of venous disease as well as endovascular management of chronic pelvic venous disease. Joe is a member of the State Sarcoma Service based at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital (SCGH) and performs the bulk of the major arterial and venous reconstructions for soft-tissue tumours. Joe is a supervisor of training at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital and consults privately in his consulting suites in Nedlands
Background & Training
Joe achieved his Bachelor of Medicine in 2002 from the University of Newcastle and then went on to complete his FRACS from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2014. He also completed a mini-fellowship in Paediatric Vascular Surgery at Great Ormond St Hospital, London.
